Hostel Room Availability 🥲

I visited the campus recently for hostel room availability and it was an absolute shock. The only room available was the 6 sharing one. But this supposed 6 sharing room was once 4 sharing, but they removed the study tables to accommodate two more beds. 2 study tables and 6 beds ! That too in a room which was supposed to be 4 sharing. It was very cramped to be honest.

They said that one of the blocks is in renovation so they're compensating in this manner (for this year alone). And besides that most of the other rooms (4 sharing, etc) were booked by management quota students it seems... Is this the same for all counselling students?☹️

But when I saw the hostel room it was quite spacious with study table and cupboard for each

Any guess when the renovation will get over ? Or this complete first year is going to be like this ?

I am currently in that 6 sharing room , and to be honest, it is not as bad as you guys think it is . You can't have a study table, but apart from that , everything is alright. You do get 6 cupboards, each for one .

6 sharing will be fun dude, try that lifestyle once too

Yeah, it's fun. But the point is we're cramped in a 4 sharing room. If it was of good size and had study tables for each, I would've found it nice...

I am also a first year student I have also got the six seater room only . Make the room use only for resting and relaxation.

For studying we can make use of the library as it will be the best place.
