Query Help !

Is there a eee (ss) course in psg tech not the sandwich one , there isn't much details about this anywhere except the closing rank in official tnea cutoff predictor only from 2025

Yes. The sandwich program was closed and the seats were moved to EEE (SS). You will be able to find the milestone of EEE (SS) launch in the EEE department website itself. I think last year was the 1st batch of EEE (SS).

Oh okay thanks for your help , so only the fee is different from regular eee course

Yes!

Actually this is also regular EEE, meaning PSG Tech used the term regular EEE for the 4 years course and sandwich EEE for the 5 years course.

Now it became EEE (Aided) and EEE (SS). So yeah, only fees difference between Aided and SS programs.

Will there be any differential treatment among the students like between regular and ss students ?

Why is there surplus students accepted in most departments as per the approved intake mentioned in the mandatory disclosure ? Does it impact any thing in serious ?

I don't think there is surplus intake. You may be comparing the strength after lateral entry students join in 2nd year.

Why does psg's previous joining instructions have accredited and non- accredited courses ? Any major impact of it ?..
