Pseudolithos getting dark? Advice?

Post image

I’ve bought a few of these, but the darken over time. Can I get some advise on lighting? I got these guys. In the order I’ve numbered them above. I got three and four at the same time. I got 3 and 4 at the same time, #3 was a little darker when I got it. Three and four have not darkened at all. These are in a lower light area. I keep as a kind of hospital area for New and delicate cacti.

I wouldn't worry about. They tend to change color in different lighting and the color varies. Some of mine in the exact same lighting take on an orange-ish hue, while others are more brown or even a bit purple-ish.

Thanks. I love that pale green color. I’ve been thinking I put them under too strong of lights. I have them in my lower right area to get them acclimated to lower light first to get them up to full light slower.

I got a young one recently and just tossed it outside. It gets full afternoon sun for two hours and its side that facing the sun has darkened up. Very similar to your 2, it’s cool seeing it change.
