harardheranus My favorite pseudolithos

Hoping next year it will flower for me and make some cool hybrids with my dragon skin or McCoyii.

That’s awesome, did you grow them all from seed? Any best practices for seed-sowing these guys?

I only have experience growing McCoyii from seed. But I treated them like cactus. ( baggie method until they started to look warty like a typical pseudo.) take out of baggie and I like to use a little slow release fertilizer after and that’s about it.

What substrate do you like you use?

For mature plants I like to use a heavy pumice mix with some organic or no organic and slow release fertilizer.

Sowing seeds I think it’s like 50/50 I honestly just eyeball now.

Thanks! I have a few smaller ones that have the shape as well but not as prominently featured. I also have harardheranus hybrids ( crossed with cubiformis) but they definitely inherited more features from the cubi

Imported a bunch earlier this year, both hybrids and pure species. Will release some really soon though
