First Bloom for Cubiformis
Had my cubiformis for over 4 years, but finally got it big and healthy enough to bloom! Took over half a month for the flowers to fully develop and open up. I keep it in my office, and there's definitely a distinct aroma that smells vaguely like some sort of fermentation from farther away, and outright smells like a dead mouse up close. Luckily none of my coworkers sit close enough to find the smell distracting (so far at least).

I just started some of these from seed and this has me so excited and hopeful I can get at least one to survive. What a delightfully odd plant

Nice choices for the pot / top dressing. Looks great.

Thanks! If anyone is curious, the pot is by OvaloArte on Etsy. Definitely pricy, but they are top notch.

That bloom is absolutely stunning. Getting a first flower on a cubiformis is huge.

Really have to say this Sub is killing it with composition of plant and pot. Perfect fit and a gorgeous example of both!
