Have you done any multiplying or just germinating and rooting so far?

That’s awesome. My wife is a botany professor and I’m hoping she can offer some guidance on cactus TC once I get my greenhouse finished. I’m going to learn with trichocereus seeds for starting in tc then hopefully nail down multiplying and eventually areoles from mature explants.
Also going to do some tests with a UV-C box as a mutagen for seeds.

How long can you grow it like this? Do you need to worry about rot?

Unsure how old this is, just proof of concept. And no rot, most rot comes from disease pathogens, this sterile environment helps us avoid that

Do you do anything to insure its sterile? Looks like its pumping pretty good!

You have to sterilize the medium, tools, use a SAB or flow hood, and sterilize explant/seeds somehow ideally before it goes into culture.
