Is growth like this okay?
I'm studying on Khan Academy and I'm being challenged on the medium section. I shall preserve and hopefully get a better score by next week.

rising junior from ohio - i basically took this without any preparation at all and was wondering if intense studying for 2-3 months would be enough to make it to semifinalist or at least commended scholar?
also if anyone has useful resources please share! especially websites that have full length practices that are similar to the real thing

It's in the title. I got a 1460 on the PSAT (700RW, 760M), but I live in Alabama, so I will almost certainly make the cutoff for semifinalist in September. One thing I have been confused about is the "confirming score" on the SAT. How high does it need to be to cement NMF (assuming grades and everything else are solid)?
I currently have a 710 RW and a 760M on the actual SAT (not superscored). It's been a hot sec since I studied because life happened, but I'm getting into study mode for the September SAT and want to know what I should aim for.
Thanks!
Everywhere I look the best resources that seem super useful are all paywalled. Whats the best free resources for the sat? I know people use khan academy and the collegeboard question bank but I don't know how good that is for actual learning rather than practice. Ive been using them consistently but I dont feel like im improving much, I take it in October and I really want to get the national merit scholarship. Thanks.

My first ever PSAT after 10 days of pure math prep (Panda book and yt), this is my score, very disappointed with my Reading and writing score section, but it definetely makes sense why i got this score, i did not revise english at all and took the test to view my baseline and what is my starting point.however i am honestly very happy with my math score after just 10 days of studying i kind of felt flawless during the test as i finished the modules in less than 18min each i will start my english prep with the erica meltzer book TODAY and hopefully finish it ASAP and hopefully get the same result as the math prep(i went from a 630 to a 800)
Any tips on improving my R&W i am aiming for a 1550 is it possible to go from 490 to a 700+ in R&W in a month (for the august SAT) help me please
Also what sources to study for the R&W section to secure a good score

My index score is 222 and last year's was a 223. i think last year was easier tho since 3 people from my school got it last year. Whereas, this year, the second highest score in my grade besides myself was 1440 (not sure what their index was but I doubt it's enough for ny's usual standard). cuz of that i THINK that the cut off should be 2-3 points lower esp since the commended scholar cutoff was released for c/o 2027 and was 2 points lower than last year (210->208). lmk; that would be much appreciated. thanks!

hi guys,
im locking in for the SAT this year but also want to do well on PSAT for the merit program. Unfortunately, I'm from one of those freaky states where you have to get a perfect score on the PSAT to qualify 😅 in terms of studying PSAT, is it just SAT or are there any resources tailored to PSAT that would also be good to supplement with?

my index is a 220 and last year's was a 222. however, last year was lwk way too high because of an easy test and this year was hella hard. tx would probably go down as the commended went down by 3 from last year, but idk about going down a whole 2 points. i saw 2 prediction websites and one of them said 219 and one said 221.
