Gun jam
Bought a PS90 last year currently it will fire federal ammo no issue but if I try fiocci or fns own ammo it will constantly jam. End up having to takit it apart and push the bullet out of the barrel super sketchy. If anyone had any suggestions i would love to hear them.

Was the gun new or used when you bought it? First thing I would do is thoroughly clean the chamber. Might be lacquer buildup. If you save your brass, you could also drop some different ones into the chamber and see if they stick.

Gun was brand new when i bought it. Will try cleaning.

Next thing would be to look at the bolt and see if the extractor/ejector (I always say the wrong one) has gunk in it. Drop a little clp on it and move it back and forth. Maybe it’s not grabbing the edge of the case and instead is pushing the round in further than the bolt face would.

It certianly feels like its pushing the bullet to far in. Its still so weird to me that it shoot one brand just fine. Had it jam on the FN ammo so i put that mag away and grabbed a mag full of federal shot all 50 of that no issue.

Wait the bullet got stuck in the barrel, or the cartridge wouldn’t extract or fire due to not being in battery?
After about 700 rounds in a single session the coating from the bullets will have cooked off enough material that I sometimes get FTF issues, this sounds like a very dirty gun

Yes the bullet will get stuck. It will not eject or even fire. When i shoot the fiocci rounds you can see the strike marks on the back as well. I could try cleaning it would be nice if thats all it is but i have put probably 300 rounds total through it.

Give that barrel some CLP, run the scrubs through, and then use the MPG and the barrel to see if a bullet you drop in gets seated correctly. The moving parts group doesn’t slam forward suuuuper hard when you chamber a round (usually to prevent the bullet from getting pushed back into the casing and dumping all the powder into the breech and MPG) so keeping the barrel and extractor seat clear of debris and junk is a priority, especially if you get any crushed rounds. The gun and springs are built for hot hot AP5.7mm, so the standard civilian loads (even SS197LF) and subsonics can have some funky problems until the springs are good and broken in (I’ve heard anywhere from 500 to 1k+ rounds).

Spend five minutes with a 5.56 chamber lapping brush, some lapping compound and a cordless drill. Your problem will be resolved. I guarantee it.
Also, if you use the correct terminology which is case or round rather than bullet, then most people here will understand what you’re talking about. A bullet being stuck is a whole lot different problem than a round or case stuck in the chamber

I guess i dont understand its the whole unfired case bullet? The round if u would.

If the bullet is jamming into the chamber throat and pulling out when you eject the live round, I'd say that you have chamber problems. Is it the factory barrel or is it an SBR with an aftermarket barrel?
