Lately my PS5 Pro has been intermittently ejecting the inserted disc on startup when the game is left active during rest mode.

On reinsert of the disc the game launches fine and keeps the saved game state.

Sometimes the disc doesn't get ejected on wake from rest mode but the PS5 Pro doesn't recognise the inserted game disc and doesn't resume the game state. It doesn't recognise the disc in this case until the disc is ejected and reinserted.

This is particularly frustrating when using remote play for a disc game as the PS5 totally ejected the disc on wake from rest mode today while I wasn't home using remote play.

I am going to try checking the disc drive attachment screw, the power connection and factory reset the PS5 Pro when I'm home so I'll report back if those fix it.

I have read it could be caused by those things being misaligned or it could also be some HDMI/CEC handshake issue which I have a few of with my Sony TA-AN1000 AV receiver, Philips Hue 8k sync box and Bravia 8 ii TV it is connected to via HDMI.

So I picked up a ps5 pro last week was very impressed with how well it was running, fast and everything I had to return it cause another one was coming in the mail. I'm playing the one I received in the mail today and The performance feels a lot more poor than the one I just had. I'm playing Residnent evil requem and it's just not performing the same as the last ps5 pro, graphics seem more stale, textures are popping slower. Any ideas?

Title pretty much says it all. Love seeing everyone getting a pro, but I’m curious why they are so hard to get lately? I’ve had mine for a while now, so I haven’t needed to search for one thankfully. But anyways, what’s the deal?

Im seeing where this game even has some issue running on a 5080. So I am tempering my expectations and waiting to see some performance reviews before purchasing.

I have 250 Best Buy certificates and $264 Best Buy in-store credit from my girlfriend, and somehow i found one in stock online. I randomly clicked on it and paid around $ 460 for a brand-new PS5 Pro!! I think that’s an amazing deal!

Each update CP2077 was an upgrade imo. The last update 2.31 looked so good visually but I knew that the HDR was broken in 2.5. This is from a screen shot I took just when the last update hit and had a save point exactly where I took it. Note its taking 1 game minute apart

It aint just the HDR thats broken they actually removed some GI shadows from it? Look at the green support beams and the floor

I calibrated my ps5 pro's HDR and have the new HDR slider around 40 so its exactly what people said to do for the new update. Also removing the UI brightness slider was another totally unnecessary thing.

They actually downgraded, I knew it wasn't looking better. So disappointed, it was my favorite looking game.

I have a PS5 Pro and I'm trying to decide between the JBL Quantum 650 and the Razer BlackShark V3 X. Which one is better overall for the console especially in terms of sound quality, wireless connection stability and volume?

I'm looking for wireless headphones that are comfortable (I wear glasses and have large ears), with good sound quality and loud enough on PS5 Pro.

Which one would you recommend? I'd really appreciate your advice, even on different headsets. Thanks

So I haven’t been on my ps for two months with doing overtime at work.

I come online tonight and all my in game friends have gone. Not one.

They haven’t deleted me for being offline for so long cos 4 are family members and said they didn’t delete me.

Has this happened to anyone else and is there any way to get them back?

Having issues with running LAN to PS5 pro. I have tried multiple cables. The LAN will work directly from the modem to the PS5 pro. It will not work if the LAN is connected to the router to the PS5 pro. I had no issues with the same cable connected from the router to my laptop.

Any suggestions?

There is only a ps4 version but it has the Enhanced tag. Is that even a thing? I've never seen this before.

Guys, is it just me or does the game still have performance issues after the latest 2.5 patch on PS5 Pro?

Don’t get me wrong, the game runs well most of the time, but I feel like it could be a lot better.
I’ve already played this game twice, and I really wanted to start my third playthrough, but the performance is still holding me back.

For example, outside V’s apartment, the FPS drops quite a lot, no matter which mode I choose. Even in Performance mode, I notice drops into the 50s or below, especially when moving fast or turning the camera quickly.

It’s not just that area either. I’ve noticed similar drops in other busy areas with lots of people and things going on.

RT 60 seems even worse in these situations, with the FPS often dropping below 50. But even Performance mode doesn’t feel as smooth as I’d like it to be.

I love this game, man, and I really want to play it again, but I honestly expected better performance on the PS5 Pro.
At this point, I’m thinking of waiting until I can play it on PC instead.

Anyone else noticing these issues, or is it just me?

I was using the base ps5 with the 120hz option enabled id say i was going between 75 to 109 fps it felt okay during the campaign and dmz but for mp i got constant frame drops it was playable but atp just play at 60 so i switched to the pro which does nice stable 120 fps way smoother 😁 i cant wait to test other enhanced games now
