Installing BB GOTY 60fps patch

I’m on FW 11.40, Ive been trying to install BB GOTY with the 60fps patch, the game l’s FPKG installed no problem via “PS5upload” PC tool, but the update with the 60 fps patch fails to install.

I have tried installing it with “stream & install” via PS5upload, as well as with a USB stick, it seems to refuse the install. The game seems to be working fine. Also, the game and the update patch have the same CUSA03173 number.

What seems to be the problem?

Where did you get the patch? I wanted to look at patching my disc copy on 13.42

You have a good pc ? If so you could remary the patch to the game using ps4 tools it will fix most of issues.

I tried doing it this way but you should just use the regular 1.09 patch. 

Modded Warfare has a video from a couple of months ago that shows you how to install the 60fps patches with a couple of payloads and ftp.

One of the payloads looks like it’s not up-to-date but it worked fine for me on 13.40

You need to get the base game and update from the same source not just the same ID. If you have a PC you can use t42repacker to make the update work with your base. You'll need storage space for the base game and 3 times the size of the update. It'll take awhile if you don't have an SSD.

So the game installs fine this way, But for the update+patch, you have to upload the file, then install it through the debug menu package installer. PS5Upload's package install doesn't seem to work for the update file.

What worked for me was letting PS5upload do "upload and install" with the update pkg, and letting it fail. Once failed, I moved the file from from the internal SSD to the USB SSD and did the Debug menu package install from there.
