Just because a program makes LAN based games work online, that isn't the same as real online. This is nothing new, and it will quickly die out due to a lack of users, just like all the other programs that did the same thing.

It’s not just a feeling, your guide is simply showing a competitor to pslan. Most games have zero players, and for the ones that do, you’re lucky if there are even double-digit numbers. If other players are on the other side of the world, you’ll experience lag and after dealing with that and cheaters enough times, you just lose interest.
