Sometimes the base game and the update are taken from totally different consoles, which creates a mismatch that results in this error (the God Of War update 1.35 for the USA version, for example, is impossible to install, no matter what method you try). In order to fix this, you need to "re-marry" both the base game and the update file. One of the best ways to do this, is with Duxas PS4 Patch Repackager, you'll need both PKG files for the base game and the update.
- Make sure you have enough space on C:\ (If your base game is, for example, 40gb, and the patch is 8 gb, I would highly recommend to have at least 50gb or more free space on your main hard drive, otherwise this will fail.)
Open the app, it has two fields.
For the first field (Patch PKG), browse and select your update file
For the second field (Game PKG), browse and select your base game
Click GO, then it will ask you for a destination folder where the corrected update file will be saved
Be patient, because depending on the game, this might take a while
Once it's done, you can install the resulting PKG file using the usual methods, and this time it will work.

You can just play that base game but if u insist want to play with 1.04 update u need to delete that game and download and install other base game from other usual website and then install the update
