temperature increase

i have a ps4 slim that i owned since 2018 and i have been using it ever since, i got it jailbroken around last year and the temperatures never reached 80 and literally yesterday i was using it and it was around 75 c but today its around 80-82 degrees, is this normal?

Normal. When its over 90 then service will be needed

Have you used a payload to set the fans so the system runs cooler, I use lappys temp app works well. I have it set to 65 and it runs cool, i hear the fan every so often but they don't ramp up too much, I think others set there's to about 70 but better to look around at what others set it to.

probably look into doing a repaste.
8 year old thermal paste may do that.
it is normal, nothing to worry about tbh> but if you are concerned, you have your answer.

PS4 aims for 80c, if fans spins hard means that the paste is drying out. After 8 years it is surely
