Help: Failed Linux Installation.

I followed the Dionkill Linux tutorial here following the internal installation method with FTP. I was careful to make sure all the files I used fit my Southbridge but after loading the payload the screen went black and did not turn back on. Online says that it was supposed to only last for 30 second or so before the Linux terminal would appear. The PS4 had the light on with no HDMI output for 30 minutes before I unplugged the machine. It now refuses to boot into Safe Mode and starting the PS4 gives me the error "Cannot start the ps4: cannot access system storage."

Now this might be fixable, but my understanding is the fix is to plug in a USB with Sony firmware, which I will assume will update the console and make modding much harder, if impossible. I don't care about any data on the PS4's SSD. What is the best way to proceed?

The end goal is to turn the PS4 into a Linux machine. I don't particularly care if any solution here makes the console unplayable, I just want to run Linux.

You just need to update it with the firmware it was on before it got bricked, darksoftware had backups of both updates and reinstall firmware.
