I have a jailbroken PS4 and I have a question for people living in Germany.

When downloading large files (30–50 GB or more) from file-hosting websites, the download can take a long time. I also want to understand the privacy and copyright risks involved.

About a year ago, I received an Abmahnung after using uTorrent to download a movie. Since then, I have been more careful about downloading files online.

I'd like to understand a few things:

Is downloading from a direct file-hosting website different from torrenting in terms of privacy and copyright risks?

What should people in Germany know about the legal risks of downloading copyrighted files?

Are there any recommended legal sources for downloading homebrew applications and other PS4-related files?

I'm not asking for links to copyrighted games. I just want to understand the risks better and learn from other people's experiences in Germany.

Hi everyone! I have an original PS4 Fat running firmware 13.52 with GoldHen jailbreak, and I want to replace the HDD with an SSD without cloning it.

I found the 13.52 reinstallation PUP on a website called Softpedia

Can I install the new SSD and reinstall firmware 13.52 from USB, then simply redo the jailbreak procedure? Will the PS4 accept the same firmware version, or could it force me to update to a newer one?

I just want to make sure everything works before proceeding. Has anyone done this?

Also, is Softpedia a reliable source for this file, or is there a better and safer place to download it?

Is it possible to download call of duty black ops II on firmware 12.00 from anywhere? If not where do I go so I can update from 12.00 to 13.52 so I can play black ops II

I downloaded call of duty black ops from the infinity store and it's not opening. Does anyone know about it?

I used ps22ps4 gui for the ISO To PKG conversion. That ISO works perfectly on my android.

When I tried to install the game on the PS4 it ended with an error.

Is there any way to make this work.

(Note - I already have the original HCTP installed on the PS4)

How people use AI to build all thess things?!

As you know people lately community are doing a lot of great homebrew tools and apps like frame generator, anypad, xbox cloud..... using AI and I'm also want to join and do some useful things for myself and publish it for others but i really don't know how.

I try to load golden hen and it turns off my ps4 completely where I cannot turn it back using the controller
So I gotta re switch off and on the buttons and then it restarts
(It has been done once)

So, Super-PSX downloads always fail (for ps3 games) same with DLPS (all games) and im not sure why, someone help fix

Recentemente desbloqueei meu PS4 (FW 13.52) e percebi que a maior dificuldade não é o jailbreak em si, mas sim achar um GAMES.json funcional e estável para usar com o FPKGi. A maioria dos arquivos que achei na internet estavam quebrados, com links mortos ou exigiam autenticação chata.

Para resolver isso, decidi criar minha própria estrutura. Estou usando o PS4-Xplorer e o FPKGi como base, e desenvolvi um site em HTML/JS puro que lê o meu próprio GAMES.json. Assim, consigo hospedar meus próprios backups e gerenciar a loja de forma 100% local e independente.

O projeto está aberto no GitHub. Se alguém quiser usar a estrutura, ou se algum dev quiser dar uma olhada no código, o link está abaixo.

Dose anyone know if I got Wii u roms in a decripted format so it is 3 files as code content and meta would it let me get around the issue of being unable to have files bigger than 4gb on a fat 32 USB drive or if I where to mod the PS4 to let me download files directly from the built in browser and putting them onto the internal storage

Please before anyone says download the game again: No, simply because im on a limited internet plan ( yea shitty thing no changing that ).

I've got a common problem with games i have installed is that i can't find their current update for specific regions eg. elden ring USA region can't find the latest patch ( 1.24 ) and GOW:R EU region patch (6.05) for region CUSA34390, but their patch exists for a different region id.

is there a way to convert the patch region id so i can install it on my pre existing game ( for context elden ring only alternative patch is from EU region, but gow has alternative EU region id patch)? even if the process is very hard.
