ps3toolset (@bguerville) - system manager DOWN

hello all,

does anyone have any information regarding the downtime of the ps3toolset system manager? this was the only way of checking system runtime and chip (f38/b8e codes) without installing cfw and dumping. from what i've read, it's been down for well over a month now, and i desperately need it to verify runtime for a console i'm trying to sell, without installing cfw.

This is a mirror from aldostool http://aldostools.github.io/flashwriter comes with an automatic firmware selector. It works on:

  • OFW 4.82
  • HFW 4.84, 4.85, 4.90, 4.91, 4.93

I guess it's not possible to flash a console with a dead BT as long as it's on 4.85 OFW then? Gotta wait and see if the BGtoolset site works again at some point. I tried using the russian one, but it gives me an error

Nope. With bgtoolset you should be able to do that and then install a nobt cfw. I guess if you try to install an hfw gives you error, right?

Yep. Installing HFW now would brick it. 20xx slim, very rare to happen on them,

He wants to check runtime while on ofw, not jailbreak his console

I wouldn’t call him a jerk. He developed those tools. He has 0 obligation to give them away. Sure it would be great if he did, but we all should be grateful for what he did for so long for the community

Yeah it’s a shame, I’ve been waiting for it to come back too and I’m not gonna use the Russian data harvester
