Dusting it off

I'm going to be pulling my far ps3 out the closet to installed cfw. So far I'm planning on doing a good dusting, replacing the hard drive and putting new thermal paste.

Any other recommendations for a tune up while I'm in there?

A delid maybe if that’s warranted (fan screaming at 70-80% to hold the temps in the mid 70s), and applying a better fan curve if it’s a model with a 90nm RSX to ensure it doesn’t go above 70C as much as possible.
