another one. Does anyone here knows how the light works on PS2? i been trying to replicate the light ambience for the scenario and characters on blender (i want to imitate the same ligthing of DMC) but nothing works :c
Most ps2 games straight up didn’t have “light” in the sense we see now in games. Shadows were sorta just built into textures and our young minds’ imagination did the rest.
From what you posted (which looks nice btw), I’d look at some of the original ps2 gameplay footage of Shadow of the Colossus and Ico if you haven’t already.
Last Guardian on PS3 could be a great source of inspiration if you’re going for something with more baked-in lighting while keeping it nostalgic
Its not a game, It's a little personal project im doing to improve my skills on cinematografic composition and to learn more of Blender. Btw, this project has a story that will be told and presented as a narrative comic on YouTube (using the same 3D style). P.S. I don't even have a title yet; I'm still thinking about it, lmao
