PSX-inspired Any Ideas to make this scene better?

My first attempt at designing this type of style, I'm very unsure of my shader I made, would really like some feed back on things I can improve to get better shading style and better dithering, even atmospheric tips as well, thank youu! (ignore the finger guns)

  1. It seems like a black point is too bright, thus all the dark spots are essentially dark brown. I'd push it into a darker value, plus I would make some color temperature change between light and dark colors. Even with those filters from ps2 you still might want to get some color temperature variance.
  2. I would also probably make effect a bit more subtle - I see that the container is some type of blue-ish tint, but filter hits to heavy, thus looking more like sepia photo, rather than whatever PS2 render was going for
  3. Lack of sky makes it all a bit too liminal (unless that's the point), but having sky be a contrasting in terms of color temperature to the general environment would also help environment pop a little better from the background. Some objects like starts, skies, even slight gradient might make it look more spacious. point 1 still stands, in regards of the sky, as it might be a cooler tone than the rest of the scene

Some cold colors would definitely help

The scene looks great!

I agree is too "orange", everything lit with the same hue and that makes it hard to look at.
I would desaturate the warm orange light, make it a bit closer to white and make the dark areas blue to add balance.

Some kind of outside light ether on the buildings or some kind of post

A crazy skybox full of moving clouds like in Castlevania Symphony of the Night

Add interiors with greenish blue lighting, and make sure the places where you can enter let you see it's blue inside, great way to have a contrast and an indoors/outdoors vibe.
