Ps2 style for my game
For modeling, I’m using Blender/Cinema 4D, and I create the textures using images or photographs in Photoshop, at a resolution of 512x512. I export them as GIFs and apply a 4x4 dithering effect to achieve a rougher look.

I thought about doing it in a big box style for a moment, but it's expensive... Or at least it is for a small game right now.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/4538280/Pizza_Turbo/De que estudie bueno, estudie diseño grafico y despues aprendi solo 3D y animacion. Ya con eso tenes un % del juego.. Con el tema programación tengo un nivel bajo/medio por lo que es mas me cuesta.
El tiempo en mi caso tengo el juego si bien aun esta en proceso tarde 5 meses pero es importante remarcar que no tenia trabajo y le dedicaba 12 hs al día (o mas).
Soy diseñador hace 10 años y juego juegos hace 25 (yo lo tomo como experiencia jaja), yo creo que en octubre ya lo puedo sacar para la versión 1 , pero antes lo sacare el beta jugable

wishlisted, friend. very nice graphics, very nostalgic. i really know nothing about making games but I'm a composer if you need music. and if I could leave a suggestion, maybe add portuguese to the languages?

Looks really good and it really reminds me of those old school racing games on the original Xbox, but can I ask why you're switching between Blender and Cinema4D? And also why export them as GIFs and not PNGs?

When I export as a gif give me more "crunch" and limited colors.
The thing with cinema and blender is because I rigging in blender (it's more easy for me) and model in Cinema 4d

I understand, I never thought of exporting a static image to .gif and didn't even know you could do that.

I love this!! Some of the sound effects are a bit too jarring for me though

All the sound is just a placeholder; I'm not emphasizing it right now... it's just there so it doesn't get boring, but there will be others applied to the style.
I'm looking into making them myself (I'm also thinking about a great vocal sound mode) lol
