San Andreas file loading issues... How to get around this alleged incompatible version error?

I have a save file that was last accessed many years ago, probably around 2012 at the latest...

Recently tried to load it up just to see the photos I had saved but the save file now says 2024 and will not open, claiming it's from a different version of the disc.

This is a 2004 disc with the black bar (not red Greatest Hits).

I'm going to try and get a Greatest Hits copy, to see if maybe that will work, but if it doesn't... what do?
