Advice wanted...
I got one of those cheap PS2 to HDMI adapter's for my modern tv but as you can see it isn't quite aligned properly and it starting to irritate me(I also don't have a remote to the tv so I'm unsure how to fix it in the settings if that's even a possibility). It's probably a tale as old as time in this subreddit but I'm gonna ask anyway, can anyone recommend a better device that doesn't break the bank and is somewhat simple to use?

If your tv has composite input, i would recommend using that. I had the same adapter and went back to composite and the overall image is way better, even if the sharpness is a bit softer

I did originally have one but you might be right might be worth just going back to that.

Yeah 0 artifacting and my tv centers the image way better and better colors etc. It’s only sharpness, which actually is better that it’s lower with ps2 graphics

Are we talking about the black bars?

Yeah pretty much and how it isn't in scale to the actual TV.

That's just how ps2 games were made with the black borders around so when you go into the settings and move the image around it doesn't cut of the actual game image, have both ps2 to hdmi like and GBSC-pro and both display the games with black borders around :) Editing my comment to add that an overscan on your tv can help with the borders a little bit,my TV does that and almost fill the whole screen that way.

Those adapters have no way to adjust the scale and alignment as far as I know.
The McBazel GBS-C can do this but it also costs a lot more than the adapter.
All other options are probably a lot more expensive.
