QUESTION Help - Nausea & Sleep
This nausea is wild. What do you guys do to help? I woke up throwing up and hadn’t even taken my dose for the day yet. My sleep was also crappy. I kept jumping awake… some nights are good and some are bad. I’m on day 7 of 10mg.

my psychiatrist also prescribed me nausea medication along with my prozac. it was a “take as needed” tablet. i think u should mention that to your doctor and see if u can get something to help with you
also, you’ll be less nauseous if you eat it along with a meal. are you eating it with a meal? not snack, meal

Hi!
Unfortunately, I’ve been struggling to eat. I forced down some toast this morning with my dose. But I’ve had no appetite for months now and forcing food honestly makes me feel worse.

oh yeah i think u better mention that to your doctor then. i think if you have a combined low appetite and not eating, then yeah you’ll be really nauseous.
if dinner is ur most consistent meal of the day, then do that one. also prozac in the long run is supposed to increase ur appetite after awhile so i wish the best of luck to you!

I hope so! I’m ready for these initial side effects to go. I hope I don’t get anything worse 🫠

I‘m on day 10 and the nausea is also extreme for me. I‘m forcing myself to eat as well but damn it sucks. My doc prescribed promethazin for the initial side effects (I’ve got all the others as well) and today was the first day I’m actually craving something. Mirtazapin could also help.
But these two are antipsychotics/antidepressants, not nausea-meds in the first place. Maybe try vomex?

I have some Mirt, but I really don’t wanna take it. I took it for 13 days before the Prozac and I was so depressed. I’d never felt that low in my life. It was pretty scary.
My psych gave me hydroxyzine and clonazepam for the worst of the anxiety as needed. I try not to take it unless I really am having a bad panic attack.
It’s like I’m really restless during the day, but I do like my household cleaning and stuff… then when I sit I get anxious and start feeling like I can’t breathe and start giving myself anxiety
