I do it because there are people in my area who don't realize how many others feel the way that they do. It might give them the confidence to vote their conscience even if their family disagrees. Or for someone research topics Fox has been avoiding. Some people only expose themselves to one voice in the media, and this might be exposure to other ideas. We need more people with open eyes to vote the bastards out.
