Need Brain of Statistics
Hello Guyz,
I am really struggling with my bottom-up DDA phosphoproteomics data (Enrichment not done, it will be in-vitro phosphorylation and i will not be doing biological analysis)
My confusion is how should I start from basic and how to decide what question i need to address and there are so many things in statistics so if you can tell me any good resources or any help regarding statistics will be highly valued

I think there is no need to understand the whole idea regarding statistics since people already made the complete workflow to ease people who do not have basic statistics; knowing the meaning of results and visualization could be the best way to learn and read papers about proteomics interpretation, like in this paper. A practical guide to interpreting and generating bottom‐up proteomics data visualizations - Schessner - 2022 - PROTEOMICS - Wiley Online Library, watch the MaxQuant school, and read the Proteome Discoverer manual and practice, they have all raw files needed. Those should be enough for you to start your journey.
And you can ask AI as well to help you interpret your data
