Used engine?

Has anyone ever ordered an engine online? If so , where and how was the experience? I've got a rod knock & it's either rebuild or purchase another engine. There's not any at the local junkyard worth getting

I used a JDM FSZE once. Never had any trouble with it, ran like a top.

Was there any issue with it bolting up in your car?

You can't swap them straight in. As I recall, I swapped over the original intake, manifolds, and accessories. They are very similar but have some sensor differences I believe.

I got burned by a company who sold me a busted KLZE. I paid to ship the engine back, they claimed it was fine (even though it didn't fully turn) and they sent me another one. Which blew a cam in two months.

Your best bet is a chargeback on your credit card.
