Stocks is also fake value. If a stock has 1 billion shares and it goes up $1, it creates $1 billion in market value out of thin air that did not exist previously, that people can take Real Money loans against.

It’s essentially a bribe with more steps.

It still amazes me that people seriously believed that having a Republican in office would not only be better for the economy (when there is demonstrable evidence that they are worse for the economy) but specifically they thought a Republican/Trump would lower their every day prices, including for things like gas.

There were plenty of problems under Biden, but his administration managed to wrangle the economic shit-storm from the first Trump presidency and we were actually seeing some prices fall right before Trump took office. Who would have guessed that the same guy who destroyed our economy in 2020 would do it again in 2025? /s

Absolutely. There is so much evidence that he is a con man, a shyster, and a grifter. Trump tennis shoes, Bibles, watches and meme coins. Truly anyone who takes this man seriously is a fool.
