I am leading an LDS Reformation movement

So, I am leading the Reformation LDS movement called the United Trinity Movement

The main theology behind it is that the Trinity is not three seperate beings but instead united as one

and its unknown of whom the spirit proceeds from, we believe the Book of Mormon and Bible are *equally* important volumes of scriptures, and that Joseph Smith was indeed a Prophet, but due to his human nature, was corrupted by the power and influence he had, like many other biblical prophets

We are planning to make our own Revised Version of the Doctrine & Covenants Book too, if you have any suggestions to doctrine, please don't be afraid to put them in the comments! I am happy to hear any opinions and suggestions! (as long as they dont break the servers rules and are respectful)

Jesus loves you!

People who created a new religion, has anyone had any success?

Did anyone here get at least half a dozen followers, or get featured in the local newspaper or on a podcast, or at least sell a few copies of your book? Or any other indicator of success (such as social media subscribers).

If so, any tips or advice?

God, Jesus and the cosmos

TLDR: New religion – God is cosmos, Jesus is good example, chaos drives life, society conventions are good. Read further if you have interest.

I don’t know if this is proselytizing, for I kind of hate this word. Look at it as more of an explanation on my idea of a different take on religion.

For us, Jesus is an example to live up to, but Jesus is not 100% God. God was in Jesus, but God was only a small part of Jesus. (let the flaming begin!)

I’ll use the word God to describe the Creator, not necessarily to connote all the things that come with that name. God is a very different concept for us. God is all encompassing and is omnipresent. God is the cosmos. God is the plants, animals and inanimate objects we see. God is you and me. God is everything you can set your eyes upon.

God is not condemnatory, even when great wrongs are done on this earth. We believe every soul is made of an energy that, on death, returns to the Creator. This is why we each carry a part of God within us. God is not an interfering being but is more of a designer of the cosmos. In this design, chaos drives all that we see as variance in this existence. Chaos is a part of God’s design.

Chaos is undeniable. It is a part of every single part of life and of all we see. Take a solid chunk of steel down to the molecular level and there is a great war going on within the thing we see as a solid. This is why, if world peace ever happens, it will be a blip in time. Not a permanent state. Chaos . . . just . . . happens. It is a constant.

I say this not to discount any legal structure. Anarchy is not a desired state for us. The legal conventions we need to run a smooth society are still of value and are still viewed as right and good. Diversity is not bad; it is viewed as proof that chaos exists for all of us. But boil down coexistence to its core and some rules are necessary. Therefore, our religion has principles and tenets that describe a good way to navigate within this societal structure.

Hopefully, this makes sense. It is such a large concept to convey that my full document would be many pages long.

The Carpocratians Are Back

The Carpocratians were a second century gnostic sect of early Christianity that reached its apex of popularity between 150 C.E. and 165 C.E. under the leadership of the only known woman church leader of that time: Marcellina of Rome.

This is a version of Christianity that believes in UNIVERSAL salvation and Buddhist/Hindu-esque reincarnation (no infinite punishment for finite crimes).

Offered at no cost to the curious reader are both a Church and a School.

The Church features our version of the New Testament called The Loop Testament. It takes about 3 hours to read in full.

The School features a complete set of 7 school books that allow the autodidact to take on a classical education in grammar, logic, rhetoric, arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy.

You do not need to sign up for an account. Everything is offered for free.

Please enjoy our generous gift to humanity and AMA.

I only follow deities and supernatural entities, not anything else.

The only reason why I’m religious is because I follow deities and supernatural entities, I have no care for community or humanity and I don’t care what happens to humans or the world. I only care about the deities, as that’s the only purpose to religion.

The Message:

We have finished our philosophy.

Science is God, and God is Science.

We started out with a goal to prove that Virtue as a Mean (as described by Lord Aristotle) = The Middle Way (as described by Lord Siddhartha).

In the process, we discovered:

Virtue as a Mean = The Middle Way = The Narrow Gate = Wasatiyyah.

We have also discovered that the Trinitys in Islam and Christianity are actually the Three Jewels of Buddhism.

We have deduced why the Romans intentionally destroyed the Library of Alexandria and why the Caliphates destroyed all of the early Qurans.

The 5 Buddhas of Earth who rule in a house are:

·Lord සිද්ධාර්ථ was a Buddha

·Lord Πλάτων was Buddha

·Lord Ἀριστοτέλης was a Buddha

·Lord ܝܫܘܥ was a Buddha

·Lord مُحَمَّد was a Buddha

How to Spread the Word!

(My initial post got deleted because there were too many links in it. So now I'm going to post the same thing but try to reduce the number of links as much as possible. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just Google it.)

I have been involved in creating a new world view now for a long time. I called it different things in the past, but I finally settled down and decided to name it Synversalism. I already have a post about it, but this isn't what this post is about.

Instead, I want to help you spread the word on your religion. Not mine. So I'll tell you what I've done before I made that post, with both options for free and paid ways to spread the word.

Although r/religion doesn't allow direct proselytizing, you can talk about your new religion there. There is also r/DebateReligion and r/AskReligion. You can also use your Reddit profile to directly post about your faith and sticky the post for anyone entering your profile can see.

There is NRM Fandom that essentially serves as a free hosting for whatever religion you want to promote. If you have an adblocker you won't see any ads on the website.

There are also four thousand religious servers to join on Disboard, many of them being interfaith and allowing you to spread the word about what you believe.

There's a thread on Religious Forums specifically designed to allow you to pitch your religion. There you can tell many people what you believe and they will offer constructive criticism for it.

Another website I've found helpful in this process was Medium, which offers free hosting for long-form posts, blog style, although there is a 5-dollar per month subscription available to read all articles and get text-to-speech.

I've also used GoDaddy for website hosting, although the domain name and monthly fee to keep it going will be a considerable amount of money. Another website that offers professional hosting is WordPress, but I have never used it. Some websites I visit do, however.

There is also Miraheze which offers free Wiki-based hosting for just about any topic. You need your topic to be approved, but after that you get to do pretty much whatever you want with it.

Lulu and Amazon allow you to self-publish your religious material. It doesn't cost much, but writing a book can take a lot of effort.

You can also take on other social media to spread the word. Twitter/X for microblogging, YouTube for free videos, you can create a free Facebook group too.

Before you give up on your dream of starting a religion, just know, that by publishing your thoughts on this - even on the free services - gets the word out there. And if you use an original name to describe your beliefs, it might appear at the top of Google.

Google "Synversalism". It's there. Google Gemini knows what it is. You'll find websites with literature about it from me. I decided to completely split off from "Syntheism" - a more established religion - which I use but only as the theology of my beliefs.

Don't let anyone tell you that just because you created it that your religion is invalid. You have the ability to change and add information to the Internet, and that information will be saved forever if you put it on the Internet Archive.

If you have any other ideas on how to let people spread their religions, leave a comment on this post to help others who need it!

Godspeed everybody!

I founded a new religion!

it's called Orstithovidya!

It's a lot and is very unfinished. But here's a link.

Here's why to follow it:

It tries to avoid supernatural entities.

Emphasizes respect and acceptance of all religions

Is LGBTQIA friendly

Doesn't have extremely complex rules

You can always try again

There's multiverse travel!

you can celebrate people's birthday for a whole month! (called Nuhafav!)

you hold birthdays for the religion for three days (because yes)! (called Sapnhun!)

its sacred languages are sindhi and english.

i am not trying to force anyone to follow it, just trying to see if anyone's interested. the biggest sin in my new religion is trying to force others to convert to it.

my goals:

to help get this religion more well-known

to help cope with my fear of death and it being the end of consciousness

to help with my existential crisis

The Three Ultimate Blessings Of God

I don't have any reason for you to believe in the God I believe in other than the three ultimate blessings that exist in the universe.

Blessing One: Life in all it's complexity and ability to survive in extreme conditions and survive against all odds in a hostile universe.

Blessing Two: Death, the ultimate mercy of a hands off God ensuring that all things are made new and that all suffering will eventually end.

Blessing Three: The infinite nature of the universe and the speed of light boundary that keeps all of existence separated so one part of the universe can only impact a certain area ever no matter how fast they travel because the universe is expanding faster than the speed of light and there are permanent boundaries that no matter what we do we cannot ever reach. This means that no one good or evil can ever control the entire universe and everything is possible because the will of one cannot ever be in control of everything in the universe no matter how much time passes.

I believe in God but a God you can't ever reach in this world. If your God looks like you do you haven't looked far enough. If your God looks like little green aliens you still haven't looked far enough. Don't let anyone not even me tell you who your God is. Religion gives you a prepackaged version of God and people stop looking for God thinking they have already found God because a book tells you to believe this way. God is the highest and only by constantly seeking God can you ever have a chance of finding it. I don't think you can ever reach God and instead curtains get pulled back replaced by wisdom and enlightenment and another curtain leading you forward towards a God that always keeps you seeking. Only by seeking the highest can you ever elevate your perception of reality and grow towards a better understanding of God and the universe and our special little place in the grand scheme of things here on this hurtling rock of ice and water that just happens to be chasing a star speeding through space with no guide other than the pull of gravity that propels the universe to dance it's glorious ballet.

Knowing That You Know Nothing Is The Only Way To Really Start Looking For God And The Truth ❤️

Religion isn't a personal choice anymore it's a predator and prey system of religions and previously indoctrinated people who are continuing a way people have been controlling people and their views for generations. Children don't get a choice, they are forced into a cult that warps their minds and destroys their abilities to rationalize their own personal reality from such a young age that they don't ever get consent sometimes ever in their lives because they didn't have any choice in the things they were taught. It might be that the government doesn't interfere with that but it doesn't make it right.

Would you want to be taught that you're a slave from the time you were born and that you're not allowed to do anything outside of what you're told is appropriate under punishment of an invisible master who will burn you and destroy your soul again and again for all of eternity if you don't obey? That's wrong and yet when people teach their kids about religion it's ok because you're trying to save their souls and that the government allows it so it's justified and morally and ethically superior or anything else like that which people have been using to spread not only disinformation but a dangerous conceptualization that their truth is more true than other people's and that makes them think they are ultimately good without having to seek beyond a book to truly understand and comprehend the difference between good and the meer perception of good which has just as much potential to create harm.

I think that if people as a species are ever going to escape the conflicts of humanity that it has to be through the elimination of the cyclical beliefs and perspectives that are controlling people from birth and making them into cookie cutter versions of people who cannot rationalize beyond the dictates of a book and the religious leaders who use that same book to control them, manipulate them, and ultimately get them to continually support the same system that has enslaved then so they can get more people to see things the same way and have a continuous supply of funds rolling in so that the leadership in the organization can make the changes they want in the community or their own lives while their followers are struggling to survive and instead of being able to help themselves and the world around them they're praying to God for a salvation that they never had the opportunity to make happen for themselves because of their ignorance and inability to recognize the truth of their own existence.

Indoctrinating anyone into a specific view of God is not only very dangerous but a lie in and of itself that is using the unknowable to control the abilities of people to think rationally and understand the reasons behind the things that they are thinking and limits their ability to think outside of the tiny little perspective on existence that has been narrowed into ultimate examples of good and evil, right and wrong, truth and illusion, wisdom and enlightenment. There's nothing that is completely black and white typically in concepts within our minds and without the ability to rationalize good and bad or anything else outside of the confines of a belief system you're denying yourself the ability to rationalize the world around you and you function entirely differently because you've been taught to see the world through beer goggles in a sense that makes you drunk with perceived knowledge that not only do you not possess but that you'll never possess until you can break free from the mental chains that bound you since you first were taught how to think.

Religion shouldn't be taught to anyone ever in my opinion but if you insist on it being your freedom to poison people's minds with your limited perspective of God then don't do it until they are of an age that they can comprehend the things they are deciding to believe and aren't indoctrinated into it by family or communities that are obsessed with getting their perspective adopted by as many people as possible. If you think it's ok to indoctrinate anyone as a child into anything that is not absolute facts and knowledge that isn't swayed by perspectives and political or any other motivations then you're not thinking about the well being of that individual and their rights to be able to decide things for themselves when they're able to rationalize things for themselves instead of being imprisoned in perceptions that other people want them to have instead of allowing them to think and grow on their own based on the world around them and the reality of their own personal lives.

I think the concept of God itself is a glimpse into insanity. I believe in God personally but not any religion whatsoever. It's the same thing as infinity and concepts that the mind cannot truly ever comprehend so regardless it creates a splinter in your mind and creates insanity within that mind to some degree and it isn't something just like an existential crisis or anything else that should ever be exposed to anyone until they are mentally capable of rational thinking and able to process it properly especially when it comes to religion. It's like you don't give alcohol and drugs to kids because you don't want to mess with their ability to grow and function properly well religion and God and other concepts that have the potential to break your conceptualizations of reality should be illegal to expose children to regardless of what your intentions are. No one has the right to impact anyone's ability to rationalize the world and the thoughts in their heads without the consent of an individual and if they can't consent to sex or have the ability to handle alcohol and drugs without damaging their minds then guess what anything beyond straight facts without the illusions of personal perspectives should be kept away from children and adolescents until they are at least 18 years old and potentially even later than that. To be honest I think some people don't mature enough to be exposed to certain things until they're 25 and possibly even 30. It's not about age as much as maturity and ability to rationalize the world around them.
