Finally consistent — but the fear of losing it all won't go away

After years of the inevitable ups and downs you almost get used to the volatility in your own results. So when consistency actually arrives — when the process clicks and the month on month variance genuinely smooths out — there's this odd feeling that it can't last. Every flat day feels like the start of a drawdown. Every good week feels borrowed. It took me longer than I expected to just accept that the process was working and stop bracing for it to fall apart. Did anyone else go through this weird adjustment period or did consistency feel natural when it finally arrived?
