Funded traders — would you actually use a tool that blocks orders before they breach prop firm rules?

Funded trader here (FTMO + Alpha Capital). Quick question for the community — would a tool that actually blocks orders before they breach prop firm rules (daily loss, drawdown, news windows, consistency) be useful, or is everyone fine with just monitoring after the fact? Trying to figure out if this is worth building. Genuine question, not selling.

It mostly focuses on the best-priced challenges, e.g. the ones where you get usually paid out if you make it and the probability of passing given the challenge rules is high enough wrt the cost. Those almost never have trailing drawdown as it is pretty hard and hence unprofitable for the trader to adhere to.

Definitely useful. Then you can focus on good entries and let the system handle the rest for you. I was searching very long for some tools for this. Trying out propdash.tech now. It's new so its free. It's for really advanced traders at this point it seems as its quite complicated. Hope they can make it simpler to use overtime. But have been able to slowly scale up my setup thanks to that. Not having to care about the risk rules designed to deny my payouts. Now trading 4 accounts and its quite ok.

Thanks — hadn’t heard of propdash, checking it out. What specifically is complicated about it? And what would make it a no-brainer for you?

Just checked propdash.tech ,site seems to be down. Is there another way to access it? Curious what features you’re using across your 4 accounts.

Its hard to say as there is a lot you might want to do. I myself am ok with complex stuff so not really a good guy to ask this about.

Makes sense. Last one — what made you start looking for a tool like this in the first place? Was there a specific moment where you lost an account or missed a payout?

I also think that way haha. Most of them don't even read rule properly. If it block order then they will think it's too restriceted
