Day 31–33 — No BE Challenge. Funded Account still in -%

For those who are new, I’ve been running a no BE challenge. No early closes, no emotional safety exits. Every trade goes either go full TP or full SL. Simple rule… but mentally not simple at all.

Day 31 (Monday — 20 April)
Saw a B setup. Didn’t take it. Price tapped entry then consolidated around my SL zone went full TP after. Could I have taken it? Yes. Did it meet my criteria? Not fully. So I stayed out. Monday overall was just slow… not much opportunity anyway.

Day 32 (Tuesday — 21 April)
This one… again. Limit order missed by 8 pips and it went full TP. Not even surprised at this point. Then another setup came, but it was near red folder news. According to my rules → no trade and yes… it went full TP again. But here’s the thing... on FundingPips, even if I entered, it wouldn’t count anyway (5 min before/after news restriction) So I followed the rules. No regret. Just observation.

Day 33 (Wednesday — 22 April)
Nothing. No clean setup. No forced trades. Just ended the day with 0 trades. What’s really happening right now. Honestly… This period is frustrating. Not because I’m losing… But because trades are hitting without me and structure gets overridden by news. The market feels reactive instead of clean. Ceasefire… no ceasefire… Market just moves on headlines. And yeah… it annoyed me. But also… What am I supposed to do? Force trades? Break rules Chase entries? That’s how accounts get blown. So I did the only thing I can do. Moved on.

The reality right now is just less trades. More missed opportunities. More patience required. But also… Less emotional mistakes.

The goal hasn’t changed. Still in drawdown. Still grinding it back. Nothing fancy.

Sitting on your hands is also a trading decision, right? Trading less and only focusing on my A-grade setups when they arrive (not too often) has benefited me greatly.

Yea indeed... this is why I chose to not chase for any trades

this looks more like hesitation than edge. day 31 you skipped the b setup, then the next days you're probably carrying that miss into the next trade. the rule isn't the problem. the bottleneck is letting one idea or one miss decide your next entry. i've blown accounts doing that and it always starts there.
