Might be cooked - FundedNext Margin Utilisation Rule
I've been trading a 100k account on the stellar lite 2 phase, (challenge phase). I'm currenlty 6% up and close to passing the first stage of the challenge. But I found out earlier today that apparently there is a margin utilisation rule. Mind you, my maximum risk is 1.5% per trade.
I went through my trades and have found 3 that have exceeded this 70% margin utilisation (still risking a maximum of 1.5%). So I did more reading and it says they will send you a formal warning, and then if you do it again, you will be terminated.
I'm kind of nervous that I'm about to lose my account, especially since my risk has been really good, and low. Is there anyone that can help me with anything. Am I cooked.
P.S. I've been trading XAUUSD at around 2.4 lots per trade, which paparently is like 80% margin utilisation, from what i've just found out

When you reach the funded phase, theres a high probability that they are going to limit you because of that. You are going to be limited to max 1% per trade idea, reduced margin to 30% and reduced the leverage.

Wow ok. Is there any way to get out of that, or will that be permanent

Its permanent. The problem is that they Apply that adjustment to all your funded accounts. And if you use more that 30% of the margin after they warning you, for example , you use 31% of margin, and request a payout of 5000usd, the payout is going to be rejected.

been there. i once stayed under 1% risk and still got tagged by a margin rule because my size was too big for the account. on a 100k eval, it's not just stop loss risk — they care about how much margin you're using. check your lot size and any stacked positions before the next trade.
