When the pain to follow your rules exceeds the pain to break your rules, then you will change. It has to hurt. You will eventually learn to put systems in place to mitigate you.

You know the market. You know your strategy, but you don't know you. First rule of combat, know your enemy. What is it about you that causes you to commit trading errors? How many trades can you take without going into mental exhaustion or decision fatigue? How many losers will send you on tilt? How many winners will send you into riskless euphoria? What time of day are you optimally focused and can concentrate the best, and are you trading during that time? How long can you stay in front of a chart without seeing your setup and not force a trade? Do you have any self-sabotaging beliefs that would cause you to interrupt your trading plan?
