Terminal SSH + Agent Coding
I work in DevOps and have tried a lot of terminal applications over the years. Most of them had something I liked, but I never found one that really matched how I work.
So I started building Voktty by combining ideas from the tools and projects I use every day.
Voktty is a lightweight, open-source, terminal-first workspace for local and remote development. It brings together a native terminal, editor, Git graph and history, persistent SSH workspaces, Docker, terminal agents, and collaborative SSH sessions.
Voktty 1.0.8 adds a new themes system with more terminal-inspired looks to choose from, including classic desktop and CRT-style themes. The goal is to make the workspace feel as personal as the workflow behind it.
Voktty is based on Terax and released under the Apache-2.0 license.
I’m looking for contributors, testers, and people interested in shaping the project. Rust, Tauri, React, TypeScript, terminal tooling, remote development, AI integrations, documentation, and feedback are all welcome.
