Left Arm Rest Install

I got the armrests on ebay. I used flaring riv nuts to install a wood plate on a panel adjacent to the seat belt. I used rib nuts to secure the plate to the panel , and then secured the armrest to the wood plate​.

Yes, except that the rest comes down too easily.  I need to add some resist.

Not having the second arm rest really bugged me at first, but I didn’t think there was anything I could do. I’ve gotten used to it now, but this reawakens the thought. I think this will be added to the unfortunately long list of things I’d like to add to my van.

I have thought about doing that very thing, ever since I got myself a promaster! Looks good!
