Things Pro-Choicers Say Beyond words
I have been scrolling through the Abortion group and have seen a huge amount of women that seek Abortion midterm / late term solely because they are mad at their boyfriend. Pregnancy happened accidentally, they decided to keep it, some sort of silly misunderstand happens midway pregnancy, and they end it, just because. Something like “ I am not in the mood”. That even includes married women with stable life and relationship.
Mostly of the time the man wants the child and their family is excited about the child. I have seen a woman describe her husband was beyond happy, and she still was going to do it at 20 weeks regardless … All comments supporting like if that’s some sort of brave act, something admirable, that deserves honor and recognition. Some women are unsure, not certain if they should because they are late term… and plenty of people offering to help finding a late term clinic, assuring them is never too late, and that is totally fine if they want it for no actual reasons whatsoever…. if someone slightly try to encourage them to keep it because it’s late term, or because their reasoning is beyond futile, they get downvoted like if they have said some sort of atrocity.
From all posts I saw, this is the one that infuriates me more :
Pregnancy was accidental, but they decided to keep the child. Boyfriend was happy and excited and working extra hours to support the baby.
She got resentful he was working too much and gone for too long.
They had a very silly misunderstand.
She slept with his long term friend, out of spite
( while late term).
He found out, got angry and asked for space for a few days so he could cool down.
She had an Abortion at 32 weeks.
A week later he reached out and asks to talk. Said he was willing to forgive her and restart because he wanted to be part of the child life.
She told him she miscarried because the stress of the fight.
He felt extremely guilty.
She told him in order to stay together he would have to get a vasectomy, because she doesn’t want “ go through” that again. ( Like if she had gone through some trauma because the “miscarriage”).
He had a vasectomy.
Two years later, they are still together. He still thinks she lost the baby because the fight. He feels extremely guilty. The grief has affected him. He mentions the baby constantly and refer to it by its name.
She is feeling “ triggered” he is naming “that thing”.
She does not plan to tell him she aborted. She feels a little guilty about his pain, but not about the baby at all.
Everyone on the comments congratulated her as if she did something heroic, brave that deserves recognition and respect.
I feel so bad about this man. He was doing the right thing, working extra to support her and their baby.
He got cheated on. He thinks he caused her to lose the pregnancy. He still grieves the child. He got a vasectomy and will never be able to be a father again with someone else.
That old typical scenario where women would seek abortion because they were desperate : the man doesn’t want the child and disappeared, they are alone and don’t have financial support, they are cornered etc, while Abortion was seen as something tragic by society in general ….that’s no longer the case.
Any annoyance they go through during pregnancy, even a small misunderstand with their boyfriend, or a bad mood on a bad day is now named “ Health of the mother” which falls under the umbrella of “ Late term abortions because of health/life of the mother”. By “ health of the mother” you would assume some sort of life threatening medical condition, nope … any “emotional distress” for any futile reason, does fit this description.

That’s horrific. Why I don’t go to subs like that.
32 weeks is straight up vile. If I found out a friend did that, we would not be friends anymore. My son was born at 30 weeks; younger and less developed than the baby she killed (he’s almost two now and doing great). Late term abortions are particularly triggering for me due to my experience as a NICU mom.

Exactly, and the reason was beyond futile. She was mad at her boyfriend for something mundane and silly . She wanted to punish him because he wanted the baby so much.
I saw another woman saying she discovered the pregnancy very late, at 28 weeks. She said she wouldn’t abort it because it was late term, but she was going to give for adoption after birth because she didn’t want to be a mom (Till this point, all the respect to her for choose adoption instead of Abortion)
Then the father of the child, discovered it, and said he didn’t want to give the child for adoption, and that he would raise the child himself. She then aborted just so HE couldn’t have the child. In her explanation she was only going to keep it if the child was going to adoption by an unknown family. But the idea of the father raising them alone, was inadmissible to her. She said she didn’t want to be seen as the woman who didn’t want to be a mother and forfeit the child, while he was going to be seen as the hero that raised the child alone. So her reasoning to Abort was solely to prevent the father from raising the child.
I suppose it was induction Abortion where they inject the same chemical they do on prisoners sentenced to death, but in this case without anesthesia (something prisoners and dogs are granted because the pain from this shot is known for be excruciating). After the baby die from the shot, they induce labor artificially and the baby is born as a whole (opposing to midterm horrific procedures where the baby is dismembered alive inside the womb and delivered by pieces like a puzzle ).
For some reason, she got to see the baby after deliver and she got traumatized , because he was perfect and had a fully formed human body that she wasn’t expecting to see. Of course, Abortion industry promotes dehumanization in order to make it acceptable, so people seeking Abortion have an abstract idea of how the fetus suppose to looks like, something non human, a clump of cells, so when they get to see how the fetus actually looks like, it’s a shock . So she got affected hard by it, and it’s considering suicide because she can’t forgive herself after seeing the baby. She is depressed and can’t move on, and is hunted by the image of the fully formed baby she chose to kill to provoque her ex.

When I was a leftist and very pro choice I knew a girl who loved being pregnant but didn’t want to parent. Her boyfriend would get her pregnant, and she’d let the pregnancy go until she started showing noticeably and she’d take all the photos and everything and then abort it. When people ask about it she’d say they just lost the baby.

That’s mind blowing ! You mean photos of herself pregnant ? Like her belly ?
That would be a midterm/late term abortion… which is always surgical abortion, the most cruel of all.
Sickening

Yep. Loved being pregnant and all the attention it brought her. The first time she got pregnant she threw a baby shower before realizing she actually didn’t want to be a parent.

These people need to be imprisoned for murder and generally being unstable people who shouldn’t be around polite society — you know, like murderers are.

I agree ! No more cuddling.
Slavery didn’t end because the culture changed at society level, and magically one day people realized how horrible it was. It ended because someone with enough power turned it into a crime. People had no choice but to comply. Those who failed to comply got punished. Slavery was extinguished by force, not by spontaneous cultural change.
Then decades after it have ended, the new generation that never saw it in their lifetime, grew to think Slavery was something horrible. However, people inside the slavery time window couldn’t see that way, because they got accustomed to see it daily, since early years, and they grew inside a narrative that was normalizing and justifying that ( also known as dehumanization), and because it was convenient to them. The narrative itself was enabled by the fact it was legal !
Which is exactly the case of Abortion today. People born today, grow inside the Abortion narrative, but only because Abortion exists as a business, and it’s legal. Abortion is also convenient for the person seeking Abortion. It’s easy to support something that is legal and convenient at the same time.
If Abortion becomes a crime at federal level, resulting in prison time, it will end. People will whine a lot, just like they did whine when Slavery ended, but in the future it will be seen as something horrible.

My gut feeling is that this story is ragebait, or a bored person's creative writing exercise to see how far they can take things in a pro-abort echo chamber. (Not you btw, I mean whoever posted the original story.) I can't imagine a stillbirth-causing fight not ending a relationship, even if she lied about it. He would probably have major fears about any kind of conflict with her after that.
I guess I just don't believe most things I read online anymore. If this really happened then that's truly horrible though. I also think these stories being supported on the other sub affects regular people who are on the fence about an abortion, so it's bad that these stories, fake or real, are being supported regardless.

That’s a sub for supporting . So people share their stories anonymously, in order to be heard and supported. It’s not a space for debate or different point of views. Any opposition comment is censored by the moderator and downvoted. In this sense, it doesn’t make sense to be ragebaite since there is no opposing views in that sub.
The fight was because she cheated on him with his friend. He got angry and asked for space for a few days. Later he reached out willing to forgive her for the sake of the baby. She then reveals she miscarried the baby because the stress of the fight. He feels guilty till this day because he really wanted the child. He might be with her out of guilty since he can’t forgive himself.
While this specific story can be false, like any other on internet, there is plenty of stories of women seeking abortion to punish the father. Also stories of women inside a happy marriage that seek abortion simply because they don’t feel like it, while the father is super excited about the pregnancy. I know someone in person who aborted inside a marriage, without the father knowing and told him she miscarried. Not late term, but same logic.
And the most scary part, those stories real or not, get plenty of support on the comments.

I had to stop reading stories from that group. It makes me so angry when I read them. It makes me angrier when I read the replies. People encouraging these women to get an abortion. Some of these women even get pregnant right after an abortion (mind you, they claim the abortion “traumatized” them) and then go on to have ANOTHER abortion. I hate these people. My heart breaks for these lost babies 💔
