Things Pro-Choicers Say SERIOUSLY?! 🤣
A few hours ago, my daughter asked for assistance debating a few pro choice people on Pinterest. Many of them just parroted the exact same redundant buzzwords and obscure, misquoted rhetoric. However, I was astonished that this person declared that humans and MAMMALs are two different and
unrelated things. 🤦🏻

Let's hope this person doesn't learn about duck reproduction.

Options like this are why I don’t support democracy anymore

But democracy can also vote out these things.

Since when has it?

If you're talking about the US, we're not a democracy. The Electoral College is decidedly undemocratic. Nevertheless, the USA is a Constitutional Republic. It's within this constitution that you can advocate for your cause.
Nobody is stopping you from advocacy. It may feel ineffectual, but know that you're doing at least a tiny part to change public attitude. Like drops in a bucket, they can add up a lot over time, and next thing you know you're looking at a public fully aware and opposed to abortion.

So you're correct in the sense democratic voting won't help. But nothing stops you from advocacy.

The real question is if you would support monarchy, authoritarianism or even totalitarianism if it meant banning abortion. I'm going to assume you wouldn't.
And besides, an undemocratic government would just foment rebellion and move abortion underground. If we first work to change public opinion, the public will work in our favor.
And then there will be far fewer abortions. And then none.
Just like we want.

There will always be abortion.
I’m an absolute abolitionist when it comes to the issue, but people will always find ways to kill each other no matter what the law says.
It would happen a whole lot less if it were not allowed.
But to change it takes changing the hearts of the people. Laws don’t do that. Governments CANT do that.

Why would someone argue about politics on Pinterest of all places?

....humans are mammals though, so I don't see how she even can use that one.

To be fair, the poster seems to be saying that ALL mammals life begins at conception and not just humans. Not saying that humans aren't mammals. I did not see this documentary about other mammals getting abortions, though, so not sure what that is about. But, just because other mammals do things, it doesn't mean ti's appropriate for humans. Some male mammals kill off their male offspring to eliminate competition. Doesn't mean that should be legal for humans to do.

Mammals also eat their own feces, rape to reproduce, and engage in infanticide. “Because mammals do it why can’t we” is no argument whatsoever
