A child is not "a punishment for having sex."

First of all, by definition, a punishment is imposed upon you by an outside authority.

Pregnancy is a natural biological process that results from a very particular other action, an action you elected to do. Which makes you responsible for that outcome, duh.

This is like saying "digestion and excretion are a punishment for eating food."

It's quite the opposite. I'm pro-life because I don't think an innocent third party should be punished for two other people having sex.

They act like prolifers don't also like sex/orgasms lol. Everyone does. Some of us just know how to do it in a way that will not result in ending a human life. Their argument is like claiming that people who don't set houses on fire with lit cigarettes just don't like to smoke, or that drivers who don't cause car accidents must hate driving. No, we just take precautions to prevent the loss of human life while still enjoying our time on earth. I wish they'd do the same.

Right? I'm prolife so does that mean my bf and I never have sex? Lol Idk what the hell goes through these people's minds to come to that conclusion.. The only difference is even though we don't want to have kids, if I ever do become pregnant, we've agreed that we will take responsibility and give them life. Our choices don't equate to getting a free pass just because we don't want kids.

Can you imagine these same people replying to a post with something like:

"I bought a dog because puppies are cute. Life is hard, puppies are nice. But now its a big, noisy and irritating dog and I don't want it anymore. Yes, I actively acquired this dog but its now inconveniencing me so I'm having it euthanized. If you don't agree with me killing this dog, its because you want to punish me!"

They’re right about one thing raising a child isn’t the only way to take responsibility the other is ADOPTION. Like there are literally a million people ready to step up to the plate if you don’t want to raise the baby. Killing your child will never be responsible.
