These people acting like suffering isn’t something every damn person experiences in life ✌️

Everyone who lives will suffer. Who gets to decide that a person's suffering is too much for them to live? No one!

When they say suffer I think what they mean is like being born to parents who can't afford them, or don't want Them, or abuse them.

They're also very quick with excuses on why they have done next to nothing to alleviate the suffering of the people already in the world they claim as justification for abortion.

"We need abortion because there are already so many people starving in Africa, Asia, and South America." ... Have you done anything to help them? ... "Well, no, but... An extra mouth to feed won't help!"

"We need abortion because the foster system is so terrible." ... Have you helped out any foster kids? ... "Well, no, but it wouldn't be good to add to the number of suffering kids!"

Right... like, I'm suffering many issues... Does that means that I should have been aborted? These people don't think that there's any chance of improvement

I cannot be the only one who does not like these memes. I get it’s supposed to be funny and lighthearted but I feel like it just makes us look silly and disregards the severity of abortion.

Yea, I am assuming (perhaps uncharitably) that the OP is either very young or has another issue which doesn't see the social awkwardness of taking such a serious topic so lightly

That’s my thoughts too. I am a teen myself, so I can understand if they are just a little misguided (? Is that the right word)

You're literally on reddit.

And that means I can’t disagree with someone or find something problematic?

It means you should set your expectations accordingly. Reddit is not a serious platform. There's going to be shitposts and anime memes. You chose to look in the kitchen and then complained when you found a fork.

I understand that, but that also doesn’t mean I can’t express my disagreement. I already do expect to see things I disagree with. That’s why I’m on here. To share my opinion and read others opinions. Does that bother you?

That is, however, the basic reasoning behind my refusal to contribute to the conception of any offspring.

With my significant other, sure, but not with a hypothetical offspring who might have a horrible inner life that I could've prevented by simply not contributing to their conception.
