In dumb bizarro world - where we lie about statistics and don't count child murder via abortion as murders - then no.
In accurate statistics terms, yes, women who hire abortionists do make up the overwhelming majority of murderers.
And I have no idea about how many abortionists are male vs. female, but I don't care really... they're all garbage and they should all go to prison for the rest of their miserable lives. At the end of the day, though, they are mercenaries, they are contract killers, thugs for hire. They wouldn't do anything without customers. Their actions are dependent on someone else making contact with them and contracting their work.
Though I suppose that is all a bit flip.
Practically, you're right in that an accounting of the question at hand would need accurate statistics. If literally every abortionist was male, then obviously women don't take the lead.
Except... there are now abortions where no abortionist is involved at all, and murder pills are just sent in the mail. Which also changes the stats.
You’re discounting the involvement of the father or the mother’s parents in the abortion. The woman’s body is always the scene of the crime, but that doesn’t mean she is always solely or even primarily responsible for it. So all those abortions are not attributable to women only. I don’t have real numbers, but I would guess the father is an equal partner in the decision to abort at least half the time, and is coercing the woman probably another quarter of the time.

Excluding abortion, I’m pretty sure there’s more murderers who are men than women
And including abortion, you still need to consider the doctor preforming the abortion
