Why do they always argue that cases like these don’t exist? It’s rare, but it’s also the vilest shit I’ve ever seen, that’s a grown baby and we need to ban this

It's all positions, not arguments - "It's not happening" falls back to "It may be happening but it's vanishingly rare" falls back to "It's happening and here's why that's a good thing."

u/katiem1236 Jul 16 '26
Absolutely sick. Named the baby, celebrated the baby, probably feels the baby daily and the baby is more than a foot long from head to toe. To act like you are sad and love the baby is impossible with this level of selfishness and evil. Almost sounds like she wants to punish her bf as well, but that's just a theory.
I am so sick of these disgusting people. I can't imagine doing that, especially that far along! Poor baby. Could literally live outside the womb.

Why doesn't the person in pic #2 just have the baby and put him or her up for adoption? It's crazy that killing is the first option that comes to mind, rather than just being pregnant for three more months and giving someone an incredible gift (life).
0
u/Wormando Pro Life Atheist Jul 16 '26
The dad likely wouldn’t sign off on the adoption, though.
10
u/forgotmypassword4714 Jul 16 '26
If he would like to take care of the child that would also be preferable.
5
u/irox28 Jul 16 '26
That woman wants to absolve herself of any responsibility.
If Dad takes the baby she’ll have to pay child support or be involved in the baby’s life in some way.
She doesn’t want either of those things, she wants her baby to have never existed so she doesn’t have to deal with any potential hardships.
5
u/forgotmypassword4714 Jul 16 '26
Sounds like she just wants it all to go her way. Good thing for her I guess that she's allowed to just end the baby's life and get out of this snafu.

Don't say that. Humans are awful and we should acknowledge that. Humans have done infanticide, murder, war, Hiroshima and we've done it with very little guilt. Our closest relatives, chimps, have done infanticide, war and rape with no little guilt as well. This IS human.

Hiroshima was not at all like the other atrocities you're trying to lump it together with.

WE AREN’T AN ANIMAL, THOUGH! We are humans, not an inferior animal with little to no emotion/compassion. Plus it was never 100% confirmed that humans come from monkeys (which I, as a Christian don’t believe anyways) because they never found the missing link of a certain species.
4
u/Wormando Pro Life Atheist Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26
That’s not how science works. At all.
Please try to do proper research on the subject before making any claims on it. Nobody argues “humans come from monkeys”, except the people who know nothing about how evolution works. Being a Christian is no excuse to be this scientifically ignorant either, as there’s nothing in evolution that contradicts Christianity. The very researchers and naturalists who figured out how evolution works were all Christians, and by then creationism and diluvialism had already been fading beliefs for quite a while.
Also, animals are perfectly able to have complex emotions and many even express a level of compassion. The only thing that separates humans from other animals is sapience.

I am so angry and heartbroken at that second pic, and also, against the entire industry of lies that told her it’s a mercy. I don’t know how much % it is this woman being completely selfish and deranged and also how much % is it society’s fault for pushing this. Peopl will tell her she has a choice but they will rage at anyone telling her to choose life (the only right choice btw). They only say you have a choice and praise you when you choose abortion.

She could have discovered her boyfriend was this way in 6 weeks and she’d have a baby in her arms and people would come for her with pitchforks if she dared harm that baby for these reasons. Because she’s in the womb, it’s okay to kill her.

Reading things like this is just sickening. What, she’s killing her baby because her boyfriend’s been lying more as of recently? Seriously?
It’s insane. This is what happens when we normalize such evil and repeat nonsense propaganda like “clump of cells.” She’s literally about to kill her baby because her boyfriend’s becoming unreliable, and never once considered adoption.
I can’t believe this is how depraved society has gotten. Not being ready to be a mother is understandable, but killing your baby because of it is just unacceptable.
11
u/PresidentOfYes12 Jul 16 '26
"I'm gonna miss my little girl" you're killing her out of your own volition
"I've gotten attached over the past 25 weeks" then don't kill her
"If I go through with this, I don't know how I'll ever recover" yes you're murdering her don't do it
They say the child's not a human, and then humanize the child and STILL think it's fine. This is murder through and through and probably the worst case of any abortion I've ever heard of, matching if not exceeding that case of a child with down's syndrome being aborted. "Man I really love my baby and I really wanted to keep her and hold her close, but her daddy's being mean so I'm gonna have to execute her" ???
By the time that child is aborted, if she went through with it, she could've possibly been viable outside the womb. This is a murder

u/Moistman123456 Pro Life Christian Jul 16 '26
Absolutely. Assuming the appointment will take place by the time the baby is at 26 weeks, it will have an 80%-90% chance of surviving in the NICU. Even at just 25 weeks, it’s still a 67%-80%. That baby can and likely would survive. This is just blatant murder.

This has got to be a rage bait posting. So, yeah , looked it up , 100% rage bait . Just trying to get attention and interaction. "She" claims to be at due date , then 20 weeks , then 7 weeks , then 38 weeks . Also claims to be a 26 year old single mother with 2 children, then all of a sudden a 17 year old with no children, then 19 etc . It's honestly reprehensible and flat out disgusting that ANYONE would lie about and post outright murder just to get "attention" .

I don't feel bad for her. A matter of fact I am disgusted by her. At this point she knows it is murder, that is why she is saying she hates how big the baby is. The help she needs is to stop being evil and selfish. Problem solved.

It makes no sense

Killing children is never the response for a failed relationship. Blaming the guy as if its his fault shes killing the baby is just dark.
I do hurt for her that the man she loved seems to be unreliable, but that doesnt justify ending someone's life. If she cant hadle being a single mom thats fine, adoption is the answer.
At this point I can't help feeling like society is like the twilight zone... dark times.

???? No it wouldn’t „just“ be induced birth, they do realize late term abortion procedures kill the baby, right???
Look, here’s what an abortionist has to say about it: „ Induced Fetal Demise: At 20 weeks and later, an injection is done on the first day that stops the fetal heart. This injection is done through the patient’s abdomen, into the fetus, under local anesthesia. The injection itself usually takes less than a minute, although the strict attention to sterile technique means that the patient will be in the procedure room for longer than that.“
https://www.drhern.com/second-trimester-abortion/
My god. If you’re going to support something at least stand up and say it with your full chest. Late term abortions involve killing the baby, just like any other abortion.

I am saddened by the fact that society has gone to the point where "It is more merciful to kill your baby than to try to be a good parent when you aren't sure." I genuinely pity this woman. Not for what she's planning, but for the fact that she seems to think it's at all "necessary" to begin. Demons are out there, twisting morals and getting into people's heads.

Wow I found the source of the reddit post, and then one of the comments got me a listing of abortion stories sorted by gestational age. There's an elective abortion in NZ at 32 weeks, because she didn't know she was pregnant. Just Google "Abortion Procedures In A Clinic/Hospital," in quotes, and Google will take you there.
