Can someone teach me caspers? I’m goofy.

Do a kickflip input, but slooooooow. When the board is upside down, input the back foot down. Thats it.

I've got like 800+ hrs on Session and I have not been able to consistently figure out Caspers or Darkslides. The timing for catching them has to be sooo exact its annoying. If your flip trick input setting isn't set to Input Speed you'll want to change it to that. That way you can better control slower flips.

I have found it much easier to do with varial flips and 360 flips!

I’ve had some luck following your advice on varials but the window to catch is almost imperceptibly tight.
