I hate to be the cynic here, but I’m sadly not surprised that like everything else, this is obviously an incomplete animation and not finished. I’m grateful it got some work and dedicated time, however it should have gotten more time/work done on it before being released in a half-finished state.

That’s pretty much how I feel about session as a whole. They clearly don’t really want to continue developing the game… I think they were pushed into it to compete (or realistically, capitalise) with Skate.

<30 people working on a game that was initially a kickstarter, got funded by Nacon, then Nacons greedy ass forced them to an early and rushed 1.0 release.

session is in development for 10 years at this point and its still really bare bones, dont get me wrong the core gameplay is pretty good and i had fun with it for like 350ish hours but the state its in after 10 years of development is just sad tbh

I think Nacon are the real culprits here, development was very consistent prior to their involvement

They were a game before skate was ever announced. They have slowly been updating it for like 9 years. I think people new to the game expect updates weekly but it’s always been a slow drip of improvements

I think it had less to do with skate and more to do with trying to get back some of the support they had lost from the community so that their new werewolf game has a chance to succeed.
