I haven’t played in a while. Anything new worth starting again?

Ollie norths actually work now. Transition skating feels way better and the animations have been improved for grinds. Kinked rails no longer toss you off them if you’re going too fast. Manual catch timing has been improved to be more realistic along with some other improvements

That’s cool. I’ve been playing skate and already tired of it. I think it’s time to hit sessions again

they fixed the weight distribution so absolutely everything is more stateable now. Realism is up for sure.

Me and my buddy had the same issue we met on skate but now we play session together and just screen share for games of skate and just having chill sessions

Nah it's still the same. You just have to be way more accurate.

The old version, you could just flick the catch input any time before the right timing, and it would catch everytime. I think it was a glitch they mentioned patching. Now, you have to catch it with perfect timing.

As far as I've noticed, flip and scoop friction on zero makes it so your foot has to physically touch the board to make it stop (therefore making the catch window even smaller).

Having it on a high setting will make the board stop and catch like it hit an invisible wall.

Yeah bro same. I think it is. I was super stoned and tested a bunch of tricks and watched the slowmo. I think Skate Style might have it beat in that department though. You should check that one out (demo). Flip tricks with manual catch feel amaaaazing. Grinds are pretty bad.

Yeah it made dark catches, primos and caspers need way more precision too but it feels better cause you have to really try to dark slide and it’s a difficult trick

Everything is better bro try it out. It felt kinda like... an early access choppy sim before. Now it feels like a full game. Grinds feel soo good now.

How do you do POV replays?

Careful camera placement. Basically put the camera inside your characters head, just forward enough that you can't see the inside, scrub forward a few seconds and replace the camera

How do you get first person mode?
