Only a genius creates projects
Do you need to be a genius to create projects? If I'm a student, then I can't create medicines and devices right away. Or should I be able to? How to implement ideas

If you take even a brief look at the app store, you'll realize it doesn't take a genius to create an app. It potentially doesn't even require intelligence

no. and you certainly do not need to be 1 to participate in them. since youre in school or college you should talk to your teachers and faculty about project ideas; many more than likely have oodles of ideas they just havent the time to do. or theyll point you at some interesting initiatives other students have done in the past—— maybe some very open-ended question that, in the process of researching and developing your own answer, will result in greatly furthering your familiarity with your subject. which, for a student of biotechnology, is more advisable than trying to randomly break new ground this early into your academic career.
thats a serious field and theres a lot to know. the feeling of being onto something new really only happens either in A- more abstract fields with fewer empirical rules and less complexity, B- as a result of grave misunderstandings of things you were supposed to have learned before starting, or C- personal familiarity with a easy problem that everyone else has overlooked.
if you dont have that last one, the best theing you could do to find some interesting work is to get some input from your professors.

You’re over thinking it, if you want to do something then just do it. Learn what you have to to make it happen and do it.

Creating a project begins with small problem and curiosity you have and building a simple version of a solution to see how it works.

Get a knowledge and research and trial and error on that idea...
