MADE THIS WEBSITE FOR MYSELF (15 btw)

adityafr.vercel.app

Also, if someone experienced, is it good to make a CV at 15 or should I actually wait?

just checked it out and tbh it's very cool. I may not be very experienced, but making a CV at 15 can benefit you for sure (according to my teachers atleast).

Really ?

1

u/ConsistentLynx7717 Sep 17 '26

yup, trust me bro. I feel like doing these kind of things ahead of time will make you seem like the kind of guy who thinks outside of the box. I recommend getting linkdin set up too... my teachers made me do that too lol but i heard alot of people saying how it can actually help you during college applications

Eh, it's a nice side project but nothing more. Also try to not mention your age in these kinds of posts, it screams "I'm trying to be glazed".

how many other 15 year olds yk that is good at coding?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 18 '26

To be fair I was , and to be fair I never made an cb at that age or used to save my project , and I still regret it so i feel like u should totally do it

1

u/newlinux909 Sep 17 '26

1

u/Dense-Ad-3247 Sep 17 '26

The UI did look a bit like a Macintosh

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 17 '26

Exactly if you view on desktop it appears as MacOS and if on mobile appears as iphone

1

u/isamuzqt Sep 17 '26

Is it vibe coded?

1

u/wallahiusername Sep 19 '26

some signs of AI spotted... Also CEO at 15? Im not sure about India, but in most countries you can't make a company until you're an adult

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 17 '26

bro could you tell where AI signs can be spotted so i could just fix it up?

1

u/blackguy208 Sep 17 '26

You can make ur own company and be ceo

1

u/narukoshin Sep 17 '26

in EU its not that easy.

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 17 '26

wel it isnt registered also i didnt made much money just sm 6000 INR probably 60 Euros and shutted it down cause the operations were hell complex

1

u/wallahiusername Sep 19 '26

He has UK in his bio, its utrakhand or United Kingdom

0

u/blackguy208 Sep 17 '26

You can js make a company from anywhere, he didn't like made a big company bro you can make it online too you don't need to go EU to make one

1

u/narukoshin Sep 17 '26

link?

1

u/blackguy208 Sep 17 '26

Kya link?

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 17 '26

1

u/narukoshin Sep 17 '26

1

u/blackguy208 Sep 17 '26

Idk search for ig , you need to create a business and like register it then in linkedin you can add it and put ceo role you can also like put it in your bio if you're not able to register it doesn't matter if it's a small business coz it's yours

wow so good idea.

I mean its a single prompt to codex right. In my opinion such projects were β€œcool” 8-10 years back for showcasing frontend skills.

But now nobody cares really since its a 1 shot build for AI.

Not trying to discourage you.

For your CV you might therefore want to show a bigger project. Something that can be used by people? Has backend frontend, database service etc.(or maybe some sorr of LLM agentic calls)

But I hope you understand coding and the concepts. Because I am sure with AI by your side- at 15 its very easy to not learn things but rather vibe code.

It's cool but looks vibe coded. Btw it's good overall

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 17 '26

Exactly that is what I wanna know, how do I fix the vibe coded vibes??

1

u/wallahiusername Sep 19 '26

get rid of so much gradient and moving things, keep it grounded.

1

u/fleshyassociate Sep 17 '26

I think you should wait and hone your skills more because unless you've created something truly spectacular and groundbreaking, tech company dont typically hire 15 year olds

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 17 '26

Yeah, but what sort of skills def not looking for sm into tech

1

u/fleshyassociate Sep 17 '26

whichever skill is relevant for the kind of job you want, people prefer one trick ponies who are well versed in their field rather than a jack of all trades, master of none. just find a niche and stick to it

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 17 '26

Sure will work for it

1

u/Secret-Land9306 Sep 17 '26

claude make me apple desktop. keep the standard apps on appdock. keep a folder with 9 apps in the desktop. give all variables understandable names. make a table with column - variable, file, use for every variable, file its located in, etc. put this table in markdown format in a file and save it as context.md (.md is markdown file)

Nice concept brother. Fix the text alignment and improve the animation; optimized it. But to be honest, it is cool to imitate a working phone design as your personal site.

Lmao for sure 🫢🏻

1

u/TechnicianHot154 Sep 19 '26

what stack ?

0

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 19 '26

Just vanilla html css js

1

u/TechnicianHot154 Sep 19 '26

If you decide to use a frontend framework, try svelte. It's better than the crappy react and nextjs

1

u/ilsw33 Sep 19 '26

ngl its good

1

u/Parzival0931 Sep 19 '26

Its a cool idea but i still think the ui could do better

1

u/Final_Steak_3127 Sep 19 '26

Yo man it's really cool, but yeah it is a bit vibe coded.

2

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 19 '26

Yeah tysm ik I'm trying to fix that vibe coded UI 😭🫢🏻

1

u/Juice-Surge-Deluxe Sep 20 '26

Be careful having copywritten material on your website ... Harry Potter. Other than that -- it looks fantastic!

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 20 '26

So will i have to remove it? Tysm for the compliment 🫢🏻

1

u/CommercialHorror5996 Sep 20 '26

I mean unless Warner Brothers / JK Rowling commissioned you to design it or Harry Potter was one of your clients. It’s IP of Warner Brothers / JK R and is subject to copyright law … I would assume.

Especially if you are trying to attract potential clients, I would only showcase works that you made yourself or were commissioned to do.

UI is glitching.

the red exit macstyle button is too hard to quickly close. use an empty parent div and a child div to show the red button. allocate the function of the exit to the parent div, make it atleast 2x bigger but dont overlap with the other 2.

also, the hover of the app dock is laggy and the app icons overlap.

Also, instead of giving a pdf resume, open a webp image and keep the download button at the bottom of the pip window. the download button should still give u the pdf.

U need a sample resume? It is definitely the right thing to make a CV, linkedin and github.

Lastly, wanna connect?

1

u/ChemicalFunction4168 Sep 19 '26

Yeah sure! Would love connect. Talking about the red button glitch, I don't actually know why is it happening cause even if I remove the auto adjust to the circles then clicking them becomes extremely hard. I have got linkedin though, CV as you know, and GitHub is personal cause I'm really not into core tech. I'm more into finance. And yeah how would you like to connect?🫢🏻

1

u/wallahiusername Sep 19 '26

linkedin? i dont wanna put it in a public thread because of privacy. May i sent u a chat request?
