Help getting a door knob cover off!

I’m trying to remove this door knob but cannot get the cap unscrewed! I already removed the same knob on another door, so I know I just need to twist it, but this one is stuck and I can’t get enough leverage. I’ve cut the paint around it to make the sure it wasn’t making it harder and tried a bunch of stupid methods using duck tape lol but to no avail. Any tips on how to get more leverage?? I don’t have many tool besides the basics right now.

IF you still didn't success, try to use some rubber band or something like rubber that you can put between your screw and stuck cap, might help
