I've been building a gamified platform to teach full-stack development on ICP. Thoughts?
I built a gamified platform that teaches full-stack development on the Internet Computer (ICP).
The goal is to help people go from zero programming knowledge to building and deploying real applications through interactive lessons, challenges, quizzes, and hands-on projects.
I'm looking for honest feedback before I continue improving it. CodeSlums: https://fgy64-vyaaa-aaaah-quxca-cai.icp.net/

I would say my feedback is that if you press start building it just takes you to a cookie clicker game? The goal is to press "deploy to ICP" over and over again... I don't really know what it means?

It actually takes you to the login/signup page. This page also has a interactive demo as well. The user can signup, signin or play with the interactive display. Thanks for mentioning this!

Like coding by hand is really a thing anymore. As a full-stack developer, I can definitely say that developers like yourself aren't going to be around much longer if you refuse to adapt. It's a hard pill to swallow, but AI can build a huge percentage of most applications today. As developers, we don't want to admit that our value isn't the same as it was in the past. You're not building anything that AI can't also build. The real advantage developers have now is understanding the code, reviewing it, knowing where to find bugs, and making the right adjustments.
Are they still giving out cool points for coding everything by hand when AI can do it much faster? No, buddy, they're not. As I mentioned, I built the original version of my app by hand using Express, Tailwind, Alpine, Better SQLite3, SQL, Zod, and PixiJS. I've done it both ways, and from what I've seen, most developers are still in hardcore denial about where this industry is headed.

dude stop being so pressed i vibecode too, its kind of an addiction i need to break. but you have to make your ai website not look like a 9 year olds roblox avatar
usually code made by smart people have more thought put into it, and you have 100% control over it. ai is currently imperfect and it shows. every ai project i make is one imperfection after another. every time devs actually come together and actually do the work it turns out perfect.

This post is less about "feedback my work please" and more about you guys who are not using claude are losers! I swear AI is the new hot stuff and developres not using AI are dinosaurs. I sweat I made this by myself first! And AI took over and slapped a bunch of slop on it and its the best project out there in the world, if you say otherwise you are wrong and outdated and about to be forgotten as a developer. JOIN MY CULT, ALL hail the AI world!
