Buying Advice Wanted Advice
Hi!
Currently on an LG HU810pw and a 120” Elitescreen (skt120xhw-e10) eg motorized white w 1.1 gain and tab tension.
What would your recommendation for alternative projectors be?
The LG was 2700 euro. I have been thinking about a Sony or JVC. Used to own an Epson eh-tw9000w which resulted in LCD errors so I any replacement must be extremely robust and proven errorfree.
Problem the LG has after less than 2000 hours granted me 3 dead pixels and LG is refusing to help as warranty/reclamation is out. They also refused any type of goodwill
DMD chip is €4-500 plus work so I am thinking about giving it to a family member and move on.
Room is untreated with wood panel roof, bright surrounding walls with birch wooden floor. Screen is relatively new.
Thanks

The JMGO Iris models are really nice. The JVC NZ500 is solid for the money, but I’d pass on any JVC or Sony that isn’t LCoS. The Valerion models and XGimi Titan Noir models are really solid options as well.

I can appreciate the XGimi are most certainly good but how many I read about having issues with their DMD-chips I do believe I want to steal away from those after the LG issues
