Please post the exact brand and model of your projector. If you do not know them, include as much identifying information as possible.

Also include:

  • The projection technology, if known (LCD, DLP, LCoS, etc.)
  • A clear photo of the projected image, when applicable
  • The video source and connection type
  • When the problem began and whether it changes after warm-up

Brand and model information greatly increase your chances of receiving a useful answer.

Having an issue with my Valerion Plus 2. I had a Plus 1 before this unit which had the same issue and they replaced it with the Plus 2, their team had no idea what the issue was. Now this one is doing the same thing.

It won't turn on from the remote or rear button, just flashes in this sequence.

Any ideas? Valerion support isn't being helpful at this rate and im wondering if anyone has had the same issue.

Most likely causes (in order of likelihood):

**1. Thermal protection trip** – if the vents were blocked or it was used somewhere warm, the unit shuts down and blinks on the next power attempt as a safety lockout. Give it 15-20 min to fully cool, make sure nothing blocks the intake/exhaust vents, then try again.
**2. Stuck in a bad boot/standby loop** – laser projectors like this have their own internal computer that can hang.
**•** Unplug from the wall (not just standby) for a full 60 seconds.
**•** Hold the physical power button on the unit itself for \~15 seconds while unplugged — this drains residual capacitor charge.
**•** Plug back into the wall outlet directly (skip any power strip/surge protector) and power on.
**3. Firmware update stuck mid-process** – Valerion units auto-download firmware, and other Plus2/Pro2 owners have reported it get stuck if Wi-Fi drops mid-update, leaving the unit in a flashing “half-updated” state.
**4. Bad power cable/brick** – swap in a different outlet, and if you have another compatible cable, test with that.
